No. 4-seeded Andover posted a 3-2 victory over No. 5 seeded-Boston Latin Academy in the Division 1 North quarterfinals in boys tennis.
Christian Waters won his No. 2 singles match 6-4, 6-2.
Evan Birenbaum and Justin Edelman won at No. 1 singles 6-3, 6-2, while Alex Kutchin and Arun Padykula won their No. 2 doubles match 6-0, 6-3.
"Everyone played well," Andover coach Mike Wartman said. "Christian played a nice match at No. 2 singles. He won a lot of long points. And the doubles both played very well."
Andover has advanced to the semifinals and will play the winner of today's quarterfinal round match between Lexington and Westford Academy.
