Freshman Jackson Marshall scored a season-high 21 points and had eight rebounds as Pinkerton defeated Salem 69-48 in the first round of the Division 1 tournament. Tyrone Chinn had his best all-around game of the season for the Astros while scoring nine points. Craig Harris led Salem with 15 points.

Ryan Pacy poured in a career-high 26 points as Salem won its first game of the season, 69-55 over Timberlane. The Blue Devils zoomed out to a 41-16 halftime lead and never looked back. Ashton Ventola scored 16 points for the Owls.

In Windham's 65-44 win over Salem, sophomores Jack St. Hilaire 19 points (14 in second period), George Fortin (13 points) and Blake Dempsey (10 points) led the way. .Joey DaSilva had a bundle of assists. Adan Ayala had 10 for the Devils.

Windham beat Salem, 66-48. For the Jaguars, sophomore George Fortin had his first career start and had career highs of 13 points and 14 rebounds. Joey DaSilva added 19 points and Jack St. Hilaire 13. Salem sophomore Phil Melo (15 points) shined.

Kaleb Bates hit three 3-pointers on his way to a team-high 17 points, but Salem fell to unbeaten Exeter 67-33.

Pinkerton beat Salem, 54-47, to improve to 2-0 and equal last year's win total. Justin Dunne 25 points and 7 blocks and freshman Drew Brander 10 assists for PA. Kaleb Bates, Ryan Pacy and Jacob Bennett were all in double figures for Salem.

Ryan Pacy had 26 points and Adan Ayala added 11 but Merrimack escaped with the 60-59 win over Salem.
