LONDONDERRY — Konrad Parker did it again Saturday at the New Hampshire Division 1 state meet.
And so did, once again, the Timberlane wrestling team.
Last year as a freshman, Parker stunned the No. 1 seed and captured the 106-pound title to help the Owls rally to capture their fourth straight state crown. On Saturday, he pinned the No. 1 seed, Nashua South's Colby Spencer, in the finals for yet another title.

Timberlane crushed three opponents in a quad-meet to improve to 14-2. Codey Wild (132) and Nick Pallaria (138) were both 3-0 with three pins and vastly improved Anthony Rousseau (152) was 3-0 with two pins. Freshman Malikai Colon were among several other unbeaten Owls on the day.

One winning streak came to a hald for Timberlane Saturday against the top two-ranked teams in the Connecticut. The Owls lost a barn burner, 29-28, to No. 2 Simsbury and later — after defeating Nashoba handily — fell to No. 1 Danbury, the defneing New ENgland champion.

Timberlane got pins in every weight from 138 to 195 on its way to a 56-18 defeat of Nashua South. That improved the Owls to 9-0 and was their 53rd straight dual meet victory.

It was an outstanding day for Timberlane Saturday at its own invitational, but it was pretty darn good for Haverhill as well.
The host Owls had a whopping 11 finalists in the 16-team field and placed first with 290 points, to finish far ahead of runner-up Franklin (176), which was recently ranked the No. 1 team in Massachusetts.

Timberlane displayed its balance with a brilliant overall performance while winning the Essex Classic in Vermont Saturday.
The Owls had a whopping eight finalists and placed in all but one weight class while winning the 25-team tournament with 288 points. Host Essex was second with 269.
