Behind a four-goal output from freshman Hazen Pike, Pentucket boys lacrosse advanced past Dracut at home 8-5 on Friday. The Sachems will head to Austin Prep to face the second-seeded Cougars on Monday at 5 p.m.

Pentucket buried nine goals in the first quarter on its way to a dominant 17-3 win over a shorthanded Saugus team, which was playing without six of its seniors who were suspended after smoking cigars following their graduation ceremony.

Pentucket surged ahead with 10 goals in the second quarter on its way to a 17-9 win in boys lacrosse for its seventh straight victory. Connor Melone scored six goals for the Sachems (12-4) and Nick Lamattina added five.

Four was the number of the day for Pentucket, which scored four goals in every quarter en route to a 16-2 win over Swampscott. Connor Melone and Matt Keeves had four goals, and Eddie Beard had four assists and a goal to lead the offense.

Pentucket boys lacrosse dominated from start to finish in a 15-5 win over Lynnfield. Connor Melone scored five times with two assists while Eddie Beard notced four helpers. Goalie Jack Queenan made 12 saves and also contributed an assist.

Pentucket rolled past Salem, 16-5, in an interstate matchup. For the Sachems, Hazen Pike had four goals and Nick Lamattina, Matt Keeves and Connor Melone had three apiece.

Hazen Pike scored four goals and Matt Keeves had three goals and two assists in Pentucket's 13-6 win over Triton. The Sachems led 10-1 at halftime and were up 12-2 after the third to cruise to victory.

Pentucket's Connor Melone scored six goals as the boys lacrosse team downed Georgetown 18-6. Melone also had two assists for eight total points, and Eddie Beard and Nick Lamattina each had hat tricks.

Freshman Hazen Pike scored four times and added two assists as the Sachems led throughout to defeat Ipswich. Matt Keeves added a hat trick and two assists while Jack Queenan saved 14 shots.

Led by 15 saves by Jack Queenan, the Sachems shut down Bishop Fenwick on Monday in a 10-3 win. Eddie Beard potted four goals, while Nick Lamattina combined for four points with two goals and two assists.
