Saige Tudisco placed fifth overall to lead Pentucket to the team title at the Massachusetts girls Pentathlon. The Sachems scored a school-record 8,281

Tudisco scored 3,026 points, crushing her old school record of 2,543. She also broke the Pentucket long jump record (17-2 3/4).

BOSTON — Andover’s Devin Connell and Pentucket’s Saige Tudisco were among the top local performers at Sunday’s All-State Indoor Track Championships, placing third in the 1,000-meter run and the high jump respectively.

Saige Tudisco was third in the 55 hurdles in a school-record 8.74 as Pentucket placed fifth at Division 4 states, the highest finish in school history according to coach Steve Derro. Tudisco also teamed with Meghan Cowl, Belle Smith and Kaley Enright to take third in the 4x200.

Pentucket's girls track team wrapped up a perfect 10-0 Cape Ann League season and the championship by sweeping Masconomet and Triton. Saige Tudisco led the way by winning the 55 hurdles in a personal-best 9.18, doubling in the high jump with a clear of 5-2 and running on the winning 4x400 relay. Madi Krohto won the 55 dash in a PR time of 7.86 and Taylor Walsh had a PR winning time of 3:21.51.

The team of Madi Krohto, Sterling Seymour, Ellison Seymour and Saige Tudisco won the shuttle hurdles in 30.53 as Pentucket placed a program-best third as a team at the MSTCA Division 4 Relays. The Sachems added second-place finishes in the high jump and long jump relays.

Pentucket's Kaley Enright won the 300 in 44.06 at the MSTCA Speed Classic at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston. The Sachems' pentathlon team took fourth with a school-record 2,811.

Saige Tudisco etched her name in the Pentucket record books again, tying the school record in the 50-yard hurdles with a time of 7.4. She also broke her own school record in the high jump, clearing 5-4 for her second first-place finish in the Sachems 76-10 win over Lynnfield.

Pentucket's Saige Tudisco started the indoor track season off right, breaking the school record in the high jump by clearing 5-2. She also took first in the 55 meter hurdles to help the Sachems beat Manchester Essex and North Reading to start off 2-0 on the year.
