Read More »Pentucket waited until the last minute to score the lone goal of the game and beat Rockport 1-0. The play started when Jacob Dezeil got a nice pass from Liam McDonough at the edge of the 18-yard box. Everyone, including the Rockport defenders, thought Deziel was going to shoot, but he instead fed a nice pass through two defenders to a streaking Morgan Capener who slid it past the goalie for the goal.
Read More »Pentucket and Georgetown were tied at 1-1 with five minutes left, but then Jake Dickson and Seth Malonson decided to play a little pinball for the Sachems. Dickson fired a shot on goal that hit the top crossbar, causing the rebound to go to Malonson at the 18-yard box. Malonson immediately fired a shot back on net that was saved by Georgetown goalie Brendan Willis, but Dickson was right there to get the rebound and one-time it home to give Pentucket the 2-1 lead and eventual win.
