The Pentucket girls track team took second at Tuesday's girls state pentathlon at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston, recording 7,468 points to shatter the old school record. Saige Tudisco broke the individual school record with 2,544 points to place 19th out of 130 athletes, Sterling Seymour added 2,486 points to place 22nd and Ellison Seymour scored 2,438 points to place 29th.

Read More »Pentucket's Grace Dore shattered the girls indoor track team's single-season record for points in a season on Wednesday, taking first in the 300-meter dash (46.15) and second in the shot put (30-1) while helping the 4x400 relay win to boost her point total to 122, well ahead of the old record of 109. Pentucket as a team beat Triton 62-26 to clinch the Cape Ann League's Kinney Division title.
