In the North Sectional heptathlon, which was held Monday and Tuesday at North Reading High, Pentucket senior McKenna Kilian dominated the 68-competitor field. The versatile and talented Kilian had a 101-point lead after Day 1 (2,366 to 2,265) and built on it in a big way with the three events Tuesday. She racked up 4,066 points to easily beat runner-up Katie Maehl of Waltham (3,624). Kilian, who will compete at Central Connecticut, is now ranked fifth all-time in the area. Julia Valenti of North Reading was fifth with 3,435 points.

At the EMass. Division 3 meet, Pentucket's McKenna Kilian was third in the high jump, sixth in the 400 and ran on the sixth-place 4x400 team. Paige Wesolowski grabbed a third in the pole vault.

Multi-sport wiz McKenna Kilian continued her dominant senior season, winning the long jump (17-3) and high jump (5-2), running on the victorious 4x100 relay and taking second in the 400 in a career-best 60.10 to help Pentucket tie North Reading for the title at the Cape Ann League championship. Both teams scored 100 points.

McKenna Kilian won the long jump (17-8), high jump (5-2) and 400 (60.15) as Pentucket downed Newburyport (97-48) and Amesbury (95-50) on senior night.

Maddie Nelson, Ellison Seymour, Carolyn Modlish and Paige Wesolowski ran their season best of 4:16.89 and that win in the 4x400 gave Pentucket a 73-72 win over Ipswich.
