Devils drop pesky Owls

Salem's quick start kept pesky Timberlane at bay in a 66-60 victory. Mike Lorenz and Joe Gallant were strong inside, scoring 14 of the Blue Devils' 18 third-quarter points, while Andrew Ruffen (11 points including a pair of 3-pointers) was hot from the outside. The Owls stayed close behind Bryan Cassidy's four 3's and 18 points.

Seniors breakout game

In Timberlane's first win of the season, a 71-56 victory over Traip Academy, the seniors played a tremendous game. Bryan Cassidy drained five 3's, adding to his team high 26 points with six steals. Colin Sloane scored eight points with six steals and Jake Siemering scored nine points with 11 rebounds.
