Billerica defeated Andover, 17-8, despite the strong defensive efforts of Taber Tyrrell and Jack Kieckhafer in front of goalie Crosby Nicholson (15 saves). Matt McIver and Nick Price had three goals each for the Golden Warriors.

Sophomore attacker Matt McIver scored four goals and recorded one assist while goalie Crosby Nicholson stopped nine shots but Andover lost 10-9 to Chelmsford.

Garrison Wilson, a senior midfield, scored the first goal of his varsity career to help Andover win 13-4 over Haverhill. Wilson is playing his first year of varsity. 

Tommy O'Connell tallied five goals to lead North Andover to an 11-2 win over rival Andover in the Coaches Challenge Cup tourney. Brien O'Connor made 17 saves for the Scarlet Knights, who will face Winchester in the final day of the tourney tomorrow at noon at Andover High. 

Tom Lomedico, Conor Timmins, Jeff Hanson, Matt Swett and Tim LaBrie all scored their first goals of their varsity careers as Andover boys lacrosse cruised to a 14-3 victory yesterday at Tewksbury. 

Matt McIver tallied five goals as Andover broke into the win column, downing Lowell 10-6.
