The efforts of senior defenders Chris Hale, Zack Solomons and Dave Harvey boosted Salem to an easy 13-2 victory over Nashua South. Nick Harbilas led the Blue Devil offense with five goals and an assist.

Big saves from netminder Joe Scire allowed Salem to send the game to overtime, but Manchester Central found the mark in the extra period to snatch a 7-6 victory. Zack Solomons effectively marked one of Central's attackers while Dylan Kyriakakis and Jake Matthews provided quality efforts at both ends of the field for the Blue Devils.

Cody Marquis scored five goals and Tommy Thompson added a hat trick and two assists as Londonderry bested Salem 20-8. 

Battling back from a one-goal halftime deficit, Timberlane beat Salem in overtime off a Dave Evans goal, his first of the season.

The Owls forced a turnover and settled in the offensive zone, working the ball around the perimeter, before it ended up on Evans' stick.

Six goals from Nick Narbilas made Salem's day a little easier in a 12-5 victory over Pelham. Josh Fisette had three goals to lead the Pythons.

Nick Harbilas kicked off his season in fine fashion, scoring seven goals and adding four assists to lead Salem to a season-opening 23-2 drubbing of Manchester West.
