Sophomore Lanie Jowett ran a league best and school record 2:52.1 in the 1,000 and her sister Megan took the 2-mile as Central (4-1-1) wrapped up the regular season with a 50-36 win over Lowell. The old 1,000 mark was a 2:25.27 by Jackie Chase in 2003. Another highlight for the Raiders was sophomore Ali Sanz notching her first career win and she took top honors in the high jump.

But Fullerton unleashed a ferocious kick to pull off the upset then the Hillies cruised in the mile relay to earn a season-opening, 45-41 victory.
