Jesse Gould buried eight 3-pointers including one in which he was falling out of bounds at the end of the quarter to power first-place Winnacunnet to a 74-48 win over Timberlane. The Warriors sank 12 3-pointers.

Timberlane excels in OT

Affter Concord battled back to force Timberlane into an overtime session, the Owls took over in the extra four minutes - outscoring the Crimson by 10 (13-3).  Terry Matatall scored five in the extra session and had a game-best 23 points and 10 rebounds. Matt Faia scored 18 points, four in overtime, and Bryan Cassidy added 15 total points, which included four 3-pointers.  The Owls improve to 2-7 in Class L.

Breaking through

Timberlane posted its first win, dumping Keene 57-53. Terry Matatall pumped in 17 points. Keene tied it with a minute left but Matt Faia (10 points) had a big hoop and Kevin Baker (11 points, 9 rebounds) had a rebound and two free throws to ice it.

Trailing by four points with a minute left, Timberlane saw a golden opportunity at victory dissolve due to six missed free throws, eventually dropping a 40-30 verdict against Alvirne. Aaron Judson sparked the Owl offense with 10 points.
