Georgetown goalie makes 22 saves in tie against Masconomet

If last Tuesday's tightly played 1-0 loss to North Andover wasn't a wake-up call to the rest of the league that Georgetown was for real, then yesterday's Royals' 0-0 draw against Masconomet made that clear.

North Andover wins tight game over Georgetown

Gareth Dudney took a pass from Bryan Hickey and scored 15 minutes into the second half to give North Andover a 1-0 win over Georgetown. Dan Klisiewicz made nine saves for the Scarlet Knights while Evan Weagle made 12 for the Royals.

Triton tops Georgetown

Ed Hargreaves scored twice and Pat Martin scored the game-winner as Triton edged Georgetown 3-2. Josh Ingram and Mike Salvaggio scored for the Royals (5-2-2), and Evan Weagle made six saves in the loss. Ben Cross and Dan Norton made three saves apiece for Triton (2-3-2).

Georgetown holds off Newburyport

Winless Newburyport threw a scare into unbeaten Georgetown, but the Royals earned the 1-0 win on a goal by Bryant Yavorski 35 minutes into the game. Chris Pinto was outstanding on defense for the winners while Royals coach Ron Comeau said Evan Weagle "was spectacular in net."
