Brooks falls

Brooks allowed a goal just 23 seconds into regulation, and was never able to recover, falling to Kimball Union 2-1 in the New England Prep Class B semifinals.

Vozzella scoring machine keeps going

Boxford's Nick Vozzella added two more goals to his season total, helping Brooks to a 3-1 wi over St. Paul's.  Vozella now has 12 goals and two assists for the Green and White, who now wait for an invitation to the Class B Prep tourney.  On defense, North Andover's Andres Burbank-Crump had another outstanding game.

Giant killers

Jon Stronach set up all three goals for Brooks, which drilled previously unbeaten St. Sebastian,3-1, in boys soccer. Nick Vozella had a pair of goals in the win.

Nick of time

Nick Potter scored with 20 seconds remaining to give Brooks a 1-0 win over Thayer. "He sacrificed his body and came out of it with a massive bloody nose. He stuck his face in between three boots and he headed it in,'' said Brooks coach Dusty Richard.

Better late than never

Nick Vozella took a pass from brother Alex and broke down field. He avoided three defenders, and as he was about to lose his balance, fired a pass accross the net to Drew Meyers. The North Andover resident blasted home the goal with two minues left in the game to give Brooks a 2-1 win over Phillips Academy. It was the first win for Brooks over the Big Blue in at least five years, according to coach Dusty Richard.
