Andover goalie Andrew Osborne made a whopping 24 saves but it wasn't enough as Andover's boys soccer team fell to No. 3 seed Framingham 4-0 in the Division 1 North first round.

Andover's boys soccer team dominated play against Hyde Park's Community Action of Science and Health but it took a second-half goal by Kaelan Crawford to give the Golden Warriors a 2-1 victory in the Division 1 North tournament. Andover will be at Framingham tomorrow.

North Andover spotted arch-rival Andover a 1-0 lead early in the second half before roaring back for a 3-1 victory. Gareth Dudney, Jay Marchand and Evan Boudreau all scored for the Knights (14-1-2).

Matt Pickles' second-half goal rewarded Mike Ferragamo's outstanding goaltending and earned Haverhill its sixth straight win, 2-1 over Andover. Ferragamo (12 saves) was challenged with several breakaways in the first half and turned them all aside to keep the Hillies (7-3-1) in the hunt. Outstanding possessional play from midfielders Randy Sartor, Kaelan Crawford, and Peter Kostakis kept the Golden Warriors (6-5-1) competitive.

Despite a plethora of strong scoring opportunities sparked by Bryan Burkhard and Cecchi MacNaughton, Andover's soccer squad were just nipped by St. John's Prep, 1-0.

Outstanding hustle by outside midfielders Drew Gath and Sean McQuillan kept Andover's offense well-spaced and effective, leading to a clutch 2-1 road victory over Chelmsford. Cecchi MacNaughton assisted on Kaelen Crawford's first-half goal and notched the game-winner in the second half for the Golden Warriors (4-2-1). 

Junior Bryan Burkhard netted the game-winner in the first half and helped out on Cecchi McNaughton's insurance score as Andover defeated Billerica, 2-0. Outstanding hustle from junior Pat Leber and sophomore Eric Buck helped the Golden Warriors (3-2-1) deal the Indians (4-1-1) their first loss of the year.

Central Catholic scored all three of its goals in a 75-second span midway through the second half to beat Andover, 3-2. Josh Voto scored twice for the Raiders and Dan Caruso had the other goal.

Senior Andrew Pallotta anchored a stifling Andover defense, keeping Tewksbury off the scoreboard in a 3-0 victory. Kaelan Crawford scored twice, once on a penalty kick, for the Golden Warriors (2-1-1).

Josh Chevalier made 13 saves in the Andover goals as the Warriors played Haverhill to a scoreless stalemate.
