Georgetown softball's Sarah Erlandson had a ridiculously productive day. On the mound, the sophomore allowed four runs (one earned) and struck out 18 batters. At the plate, she went 2 for 4 and hit a 3-run home run.

Gail Lebrun was 3 for 4 with two runs scored and an RBI for the Vikings (2-5). Brooke Jamison was 3 for 3 with two singles, a triple and an RBI. Marian Dullea pitched a complete game, allowing four hits, two walks and one run. She struck out eight batters.

Sachems survive

Lynnfield racked up four runs in the top of the seventh, but Pentucket held on to win 7-6. Sarah Dickinson pulled off a nice suicide squeeze bunt to bring Leigh McNamara in from third to score the winning run in the sixth, and Julianne Meehan came back to strike out the last two batters of the game after getting a little shaky in the seventh.

Pentucket 7, Lynnfield 6

The Sachems (2-3) won their second game in a row thanks to a nice showing from pitcher Julie-Anne Meehan who threw a complete game with seven strike outs, four walks, and six hits. Sarah Dickinson (3 for 3, RBI) knocked in the game-winner on a suicide squeeze, and Nicole Chevalier (2 for 3, 2 RBIs) had a strong game.
