Aided by a brilliant pick-off throw by catcher Mike Doud in the fourth inning to get out of a jam and two textbook suicide-squeeze bunts, Pentucket played smart ball against Triton to come out on top. The Knights (12-3) were down to their last breath when Connor Walsh delievered a two-out single, in the seventh. After a pickoff attempt went into right field, sending Walsh to third, Michael Weisman beat out an infield single to tie the score.

Read More »Georgetown destroyed Triton 18-1 in a road game that was played at Georgetown due to an unplayable field at Triton. The Royals exploded for seven first inning runs and never looked back. Joe Esposito had a tremendous game with a double, triple, and grand slam. Anthony Conte held Triton to eight hits over seven solid innings of work.
