Nicole Chevalier (2 for 3, double, HR) knocked in three RBIs and Tyne Dark (2 for 3) knocked in the other in a big top of the fourth in which the Sachems scored all their runs. But North Andover exploded in the fifth and sixth for eight runs to put the game away.

Julianne Meehan picked up her seventh victory of the season thanks to seven strong innings of seven-strikeout ball as Pentucket cruised past Rockport, 10-0. Samantha Morrow (2 for 5), Bernadette Corrado (3 for 4) and Nicole Chevalier (2 for 2) all registered multi-hit games for the Sachems.

Climbing over .500

Thanks to its third victory in a row, the Pentucket softball team (6-5) went over the .500 mark for the first time all year after an impressive 8-4 win over Masconomet. Leadoff hitter Sarah Dickinson set the tone, leading off the game with a single and scoring on a Tyne Darke hit and going 4 for 4 with a double and triple and two RBIs.
