Concord-Carlisle bounced the Central Catholic boys lacrosse team from the state tournament, beating the Raiders 10-6.

Making a strong run at the postseason, Central Catholic pounded Cambridge Rindge & Latin, 22-0, for its fifth straight victory. Brandon Lavoie got the offense going for the Raiders (6-7), winning 19 of 22 faceoffs. Andrew Ouellette made Lavoie's work count with four goals and four assists, giving the junior 10 goals over his last two games. Next up is a key matchup tomorrow with Division 1 Chelmsford.

Andrew Ouellette, whose previous career high was three goals, exploded for six as Central Catholic whipped Medford, 15-6. Shain Jowett (goal, 5 assists) also had six points and 11 ground balls.

Nick Mann scored with two minutes to play, snapping the game's final tie and giving Central Catholic a thrilling 8-7 win. Mann led the Raiders (4-7) with three goals and Brandon Lavoie added a pair.  Walter Gillis made 14 saves to secure the win.

Walter Gillis helped Central Catholic boys lacrosse pick up its second win of the season. The Raiders prevailed 10-8 over Tewksbury. Gillis, the goalie, make 20 big saves. Conor Murphy, Chris George and Andrew Ouellette each scored two goals for Central.

Nick Mann crept around the net and dropped in a shot in overtime to give Central Catholic boys lacrosse an 8-7 win over Lowell. It's the first victory of the year for the Raiders, who got a great performance from senior goalie Walter Gillis (20 saves).

Central Catholic lost a heartbreaker to Dracut 9-8 in overtime. Junior Brandon Lavoie starred in his first game for Central with a hat trick and two assists. Nick Mann led the Raiders with four goals.
