Thanks to four-point games from Tom Auger (3 goals, 1 assist), Teagan Norris (3 goals, 1 assist) and Jeff Guilherme (2 goals, 2 assists), Pinkerton downed Manchester Central, 12-3, in the Division 1 quarterfinals. Nolin Murphy chipped in a pair of tallies, and Brian Estes added three helpers, as well. Steve Wolenski turned aside eight shots in net.

Astros turn 18

Offense was not an issue in Pinkerton's 18-4 boys lacrosse victory over Souhegan. Hat tricks were registered by Brian Estes, Jeff Guilherme and Teagan Norris to support goalie Steve Wolenski, who had seven saves for the 14-1 Astros.

Estes, Augers lead Astros

The Pinkerton boys made it 2-0 on the day in Astros lacrosse action as they topped St. John's of Shrewsbury, 10-6, to remain perfect at 10-0. Brian Estes led the way with a hat trick, Tom Auger (two goals, assist) had three points, and Conor McCarthy chipped in a pair of goals. Steve Wolenski limited the Pioneers to just one second-half goal after they had struck for five in the opening two quarters.

Behind a five-goal effort from Tom Auger, Pinkerton narrowly defeated Hanover, 10-9. The Astros trailed 4-3 at the close of the first half but pulled even at 6-6 in the third quarter before outscoring Hanover 4-3 in the final frame for the win. Teagan Norris (two goals, two assists) and Jeff Guilherme (two goals, assist) chipped in, as well.
