In a battle of unbeatens, Lexington prevailed 4-1 in the Division 1 North boys semis. Winning for Andover were Bryan Han Htun-Andrei Giurgiu in an exciting 7-5, 4-6, (10-8) second doubles match.

Andover is still perfect and Avi Janarthanan is still perfect. He won a 7-5, 4-6, 10-7 thriller at No. 1 as Andover downed Boston Latin, 5-0, in the Division 1 North quarterfinals. Coach Mike Wartman said, "He dug deep and stayed patient. He played a great tiebreaker. He was down early and came back."

In their first match together, Nate Gellman and Abhay Yajurvedi teamed for a 6-0, 6-2 victory at No. 2 doubles to help Andover beat Chelmsford 5-0. The Golden Warriors improved to 11-0 for the season.

Senior captain Avi Janarthanan rolled 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2 and the second doubles team of Alex Earl-Akarsh Janarthanan won big. Andover won 5-0 to improve to 10-0. Andover has lost just one match this spring (49-1).

The Janarthanan brothers senior Avi and Akarsh rolled at first doubles and Sam Feng beat a tough foe at No. 1 singles as Andover boys tennis blanked Haverhill.

Reilly O'Brien, Sam Feng and Joe Colecchi swept the singles as Andover beat Austin Prep, 5-0, to improve to 7-0.

Andover boys tennis remained unbeaten, sweeping Methuen, 5-0. Sophomore Nate Gellman made his varsity debut, teaming with Bryan Zeng to romp at second doubles.
