MVC champs

Methuen-Tewksbury swimming clinched its second straight MVC Division 2 title with a 99-79 victory over Lowell. Kyra Donahue led the Red Rangers, winning the 50 freestyle (26.44) and 100 freestyle (57.97) and swimming on the winning 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relays. Callie DeLano won the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke and swam on the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays.

Williams paces rout

Eliza Williams won both the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke and was on the winning 200 IM relay as the unbeaten Andover swimming team won every event in a 105-67 rout of Lowell.

Raiders reach for first

It was a neck-and-neck battle, but the Central Catholic swim and dive team eventually pulled out the 85-80 nailbitter over Lowell. Maddy Marcella certainly did her part for the Raiders, winning the 50 freestyle (26.27) while swimming a leg on the winning 200 medley relay team (2:10.13).
