Lawrence wins but Reynoso off team

Lawrence High coach Moose Moore said, "Luis Reynoso is no longer with Lawrence (basketball). It was his decision. This was after the game against Lowell. Of course, he could've remained."
Reynoso may be the most talented player in the state. He was the Eagle-Tribune MVP last year as a junior and won the Commonwealth Christmas Classic MVP this winter.
The 6-4 senior reportedly had received a scholarship offer from UMass Amherst as a junior. This winter he played in nine games and averaged 16.1 points a game.
The Lancers still won last night, beating Tewksbury, 60-45, to improve to 10-3. Junior Angel Herrera took advantage of his increased minutes with 10 points, 7 reboundss, 6 assists and 4 steals. Jaden Castillo scored 16 points.
