Pinkerton senior golfer Greg Pogga knew he didn't play well when his team lost to Salem by one point earlier in the season and he did something about it yesterday.
Pogga shot a 37, five strokes better than in the previous matchup as the Astros (14-1) upended Salem by three strokes, 189-192. Both teams cruised past Memorial and Nashua North.
Read More »Jeff Cohen's 34 helped Salem improve to 12-0 after it defeated Bishop Guertin (197), Nashua South (197) and Londonderry (220). The Blue Devils (188) received strong efforts from Nick Fairweather, who fired a 36, and Devin Redmond, who shot a 38. Londonderry was led by John Jasek and Matt Tobin, who each shot a 40.
