Central qualifies

 

 Central Catholic made some changes and called up some JV players, "pulling out all the stops" according to coach Casey Grange, and defeated Haverhill 2-0 to qualify for the state tournament in its last games. One of the call-ups, sophomore Allie Fischer, scored her first varsity goal, and Sydney Wnek also scored for the Raiders (8-8-1).

Hillies take down Central

Sydney Owen and Meggie Dellea both scored as Haverhill girls soccer earned a huge 2-1 win over perennial power Central Catholic. It was the first time the Hillies had beaten the Raiders since 2007, breaking a 14-game non winning streak (0-12-2) where they were outscored 51-9.

Grace Deware scored twice, both on assists from Sam Andrews, as Central Catholic slipped past Andover 2-1 in girls soccer. Izzy Majewski played keeper filling in for Mary Gerard for the win.
