No. 2 Pinkerton volleyball earned its championship game rematch, gritting out a 3-2 victory over No. 3 Hollis Brookline in the New Hampshire semifinals.

Hunter Hazard had 16 kills and Brian Castle had 31 assists to lead No. 2 Pinkerton to a 3-0 sweep of No. 7 Bishop Guertin in the quarterfinals of the state tournament. The Astros will play either Hollis-Brookline or Goffstown, both teams they have beat this spring, in the state semis on Thursday at 5 p.m. from Nashua North High.

Matt Perry scored 16 service points and 42 assists and Sam Hovan had 27 kills as Timberlane beat Pinkerton 3-0 in the a battle of top New Hampshire teams. THe Owls improved to 13-1 while the Astros fell to 13-3.

Pinkerton won a thriller over Salem: 25-23, 17-25, 22-25, 25-9, 16-14. Hunter Hazard had 18 kills and took over the match late. Brian Castle contributed 38 assists for the 11-2 Astros. 

Improving Nick Kasprzak had six blocks to spark Windham to a pivotal 3-1 victory over Pinkerton, Luke Leonard had 13 kills for the Jaguars (6-1) while Sean Galusha had 17 kills for the Astros (8-2). 

Brian Castle finished with a team-high 27 assists as Pinkerton volleyball swept Salem, 3-0. Sean Galusha had 12 kills and two blocks for the Astros, and Ryan Greeley played well for the Blue Devils with seven kills and two blocks.

The Lawrence volleyball team had little trouble with NH power Pinkerton, sweeping the Astros 25-17, 25-22, 25-21. Wilbert Minier set up his teammates with 29 assists, and Andre Wilson had nine kills.

Ty Behsman had 10 kills and a team-high 12 service points to pace unbeaten Pinkerton to a 3-1 victory over Mascenic. The Astros lost the first game and then roared back. 

Hunter Hazard had an impressive 21 kills as Pinkerton remained unbeaten (5-0) in volleyball with a sweep of Bishop Guertin.

Hunter Hazard had 13 kills and Brian Castle handed out 28 assists as Pinkerton remained unbeaten (4-0) in voleyball by sweeping Goffstown.
