Delfy Soler led Lawrence with a season-high 19 kills and served the last three points to hold off stubborn Central Catholic, 3-2, in the Division 1 North quarterfinals. He also finished with four aces while Andre Wilson had 10 kills and a team high 13 service points for the Lancers (19-3) who will play in the semifinals Saturday evening.

Matt Ferrara had a big night for Central Catholic, leading the Raiders witgh 19 kills, 3 aces and 8 digs in a 3-0 North opening round sweep of Greater Lowell. The Raiders (14-7) will niow face MVC rival Lawrence Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Lawrence.

Down 2-0 in sets, Central Catholic played some of its best ball of the year to rally back for a 3-2 win over Chelmsford. Matt Ferrara had 23 kills for the Raiders and Jack Roderick had 48 assists and 12 service points.

Central Catholic got a team-high nine kills and four blocks from Manny Sanchez to help earn a 3-0 sweep of rival Andover. Matt Ferrara led the Raiders in service points (8), aces (5) and digs (18), and Yanchen Zhan (11 kills) had a strong Senior Night for the Warriors.

Matt Ferrara led Central Catholic in kills (22), aces (3) and digs (25) in the Raiders' hard fought 3-2 volleyball win over Haverhill. Jack Roderick had a wopping 48 assists and 15 service points.

It was a complete day for Central Catholic's Matt Ferrara. He led the team in kills (18), blocks (2) and digs (14), as the Raiders swept Methuen 3-0.

Jack Roderick notched 10 service points and 21 assists to lead Central Catholic to a 3-0 win over Andover. A.J. Roberts led the Golden Warriors with 11 service points.

Wilbert Minier was credited with a stunning 61 assists and Andre Wilson had 25 kills as Lawrence outlasted Central Catholic 3-2.
