Yanchen Zhan, a 3-year starter, finished his career in style as Andover beat Billerica, 3-0. Zhan had 12 kills, 2 aces and 11 digs. "It was nice for him to go out that way," said coach E.J. Perry.

Central Catholic got a team-high nine kills and four blocks from Manny Sanchez to help earn a 3-0 sweep of rival Andover. Matt Ferrara led the Raiders in service points (8), aces (5) and digs (18), and Yanchen Zhan (11 kills) had a strong Senior Night for the Warriors.

Haverhill qualified for the tournament with a sweep of Andover. Spencer Dellea led the Hillies (8-7) with 17 kills and Cooper Gibbs had 27 assists.

Yanchen Zhan had his best match of the year to lead Andover to a 3-0 sweep of Billerica. The Cornell-bound senior had 15 kills, 3 blocks, 6 service points and 4 digs. Freshman Jyles Amirault also starred.

North Andover's volleyball team defeated Andover for the first time in its short history, 3-1. Eric Doherty had a monster game with 15 kills, 2 blocks and 3 aces and senior Colin Lee had nine kills and five blocks.

Jack Roderick notched 10 service points and 21 assists to lead Central Catholic to a 3-0 win over Andover. A.J. Roberts led the Golden Warriors with 11 service points.

Spencer Della had a team-high 19 kills and two aces to lead Haverhill volleyball to a 3-1 match win over Andover. Cooper Gibbs also had 30 assists and 1.5 blocks for the Hillies, and Yanchen Zhan had a team-high 12 kills and 16 service points for the Warriors.

Nick Clark notched 11 kills and seven service points to help Methuen to a 3-0 win over Andover. Yanchen Zhan led the Golden Warriors with 16 service points and eight kills.

Delfy Soler scored team-highs in kills (12), blocks (2) and service points (10) as Lawrence beat Andover 3-1. Yanchen Zhan led the Golden Warriors with 10 kills and three aces.

Andover took little time blanking North Andover, 3-0 in volleyball. Alex Shih had 15 service points and 5 digs for the Warriors.
