Andover freshman Sara Folan tossed three innings of relief and allowed just one hit to close the door in a 9-7 win over Lowell (14-6). She also had a key two-run hit. Anna O'Sullivan added four hits and three RBIs in the win.

Jillian McCoy threw a 4-hitter and Methuen (13-1) used its speed and aggression on the basepaths to beat Lowell, 2-1. Trailing 1-0 in the fifth, Stephanie Tardugno singled with two outs and Claudia Crowe reached on an infield single. Tardugno scored and Crowe went to third on an infield error. Soon after Crowe bolted in for the winning run on an overthrow back to the pitcher.

Lindsay Joubert had a triple and two doubles, scored three runs and knocked in three and Haverhill collected 21 hits but Lowell scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh to claim a 16-15 victory over the Hillies.

Julia Chittick and Samantha Ahlholm split the pitching duties, giving up just one earned run as North Andover carved out a huge 3-2 win over Lowell. Alyssa Roderick had two RBIs for the Knights (7-3).

Sophomore Haley Merrill hits a three-run homer for Central Catholic but the Raiders gave up three runs in the seventh and fell to Lowell, 7-5.c

Claudia Crowe hit a sacrice fly to score the winning run in the bottom of the seventh to keep Methuen undefated (6-0). Jillian McCoy hurled a nifty four-hitter for the win, striking out six and not allowing an earned run.=u
