Warriors need one hit

Caeden Dillman got Andover baseball's lone hit, but it was enough for the Warriors to beat Dracut 1-0. Josh Gruenberg and Cedric Gillette combined for the shutout on the mound, and Michael Reilly scored the only run after he walked and eventually came home on a fielders choice.

Walk-off wild pitch

It was a wild season-opener for Haverhill baseball. Trailing 10-6 to Dracut in the bottom of the fifth, the Hillies plated four runs, the last of which came on a suicide squeeze, and then walked off in the bottom of the seventh on a wild pitch. Joe Santoro had four RBIs, and sophomore Bryan Carter threw two scoreless innings to pick up the win.
