DURHAM, N.H. - Ashlee Loeffler' nerves were working overtime as Saturday afternoon wore on.

Salem aces Senior Night

The Salem gymnastics team scored a season-best 125.3 on senior night to finish behind only Bedford during a meet Friday night. Kasey Hartmann took first in the floor (9.4) and third in the all-around (32.85), while Sydney Bartlett placed first on the beam (9.1) and third on the floor (9.15). Freshman Vanesa Aiello had a third-place finish on the vault with an 8.15.

D'Arcy shines for Salem

Emily D'Arcy placed third in the all-around, which included a third-place finish on the beam (8.4), to help Salem gymnastics take second at a five-team meet. Sydney Bartlett placed second on the beam (8.9) for the Blue Devils and Kasey Hartmann, Emma Liptrap, Emma Sheedy, Vanesa Aiello and Kylee Tommasi all produced scores that contributed.

Viger takes two golds

Sophia Viger won the vault (9.05) and floor exercise (9.1) and was second in the all-around to lead Pinkerton to a convincing victory in a four-team meet. The Astros scored a 134.8. Salem was second with a 113.85.
