In spite of putting up a tremendous effort in the Division 2 North quarterfinals, the North Andover girls soccer team fell to Wakefield on a last minute goal.

Wakefield got on the board in the opening half, but DeeDee Fagan scored the equalizer with under 10 minutes to play in the second half. Jackie Sullivan and Katie Moroney assisted on the play. and it was Fagan's 20th goal of the season.  However, with under a minute to go, Wakefield pulled ahead for good, sending the Scarlet Knights to their second-straight quarterfinals loss.

It wasn't a pretty win, but after North Andover coach Bud McCarthy had a "discussion" with his team at halftime, the Scarlet Knights woke up and cruised past Saugus, 2-0.

 Jenn Pino scored just 38 seconds into the game and then she tacked on another score 24 minutes later to account for North Andover's 2-0 win over Andover.

2007 Eagle-Tribune All-Star Jenn Pino netted a hat trick in North Andover's 5-0 win over North Reading. DeeDee Fagan and Ali Coleman also had goals to help the Scarlet Knights improve to 12-2-1.

DeeDee Fagan had three first half goals, all within the first ten minutes of the game. Her first two came within ten seconds of each other, and the North Andover girls soccer team finished with eight on the day. Jenn Pino also had a goal and an assist, and regular goaltender Maya Miatkowski had a pair of assists. The Scarlet Knights improved to 11-2-1.

Triton was able to keep its match close with North Andover close through the first half, but after giving up a free kick goal to the Scarlet Knights late in the first half the Vikings lost their momentum giving up three second half goals.

 Jenn Pino sparked a North Andover offense outburst as the Scarlet Knights downed Georgetown 5-1. Pino (2 assists) and Katie Maroney each scored two goals and Jackie Sullivan scored once.

North Andover handed defending state champion Newburyport its second straight loss, winning 3-1. The Scarlet Knights jumped out quickly, scoring all three goals in the first 10 minutes of the first half.

For the first time in the career of any of the current Newburyport players the Clipper lost consecutive games as North Andover struck three times in the first 15 minutes of the game.

The only consolation, Newburyport's Jillian Kinter broke the tie with former Clipper Kristin Mahoney for the school's all-time mark with her 77th career goal.

Struggling with the wind and a dynamite attacking North Andover team, Amesbury was not competitive with the visiting Scarlet Knights.
