Sara Metzger had 22 assists and 21 digs as Pinkerton had a huge 3-0 win over Concord in volleyball. That improved the Astros to 15-2 and temporarily gives them the No. 2 seed for the Division 1 tournament.

Amelia Graves notched team-highs in kills (6) and digs (15) as Pinkerton beat Goffstown 3-0. Sara Metzger added 13 service points and 16 assists.

Sophomore Ella Dandrade had another big game to pace Pinkerton to a huge 3-2 win over Spauldng. Dandrade had 11 kils. 17 service points and 32 digs to pace the Astros (11-2).

Trailing 11-7 in the fifth game, Pinkerton stormed back to defeat Nashua North 15-12 to improve to 10-2 on the year. Sophomore Ella Dandrade had a superb game for the Astros with 8 kills, 3 blocks and 26 digs and had five service points in the final game. Sara Metzger added 20 assists and 15 service points.

Amelia Graves led surging Pinkerton with 10 kills and had six aces among her 15 service points in a sweep of Keene.

Sara Metzger picked up the 1,000th assist of her career on her way to 20 on the day and also had 11 service points as Pinkerton knocked off previously unbeaten Dover 3-0. Metzger is only the second Astro to reach 1,000 assists.

Salem coach John Roemer said, "It was like a playoff match: back and forth, back and forth."

The marathon with Pinkerton lasted 2:26 and went to the Blue Devils (4-1) in five nip-and-tuck games: 21-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-27 and 16-14.

Pinkerton's volleyball team remained unbeaten (3-0) with a sweep of Bedford. Amelia Graves had 14 kills, 11 service points and 25 digs for the Astros.

Amelia Graves scored 18 service points including 11 aces to lead Pinkerton to a 3-0 victory over Manchester Central. Sara Metzger added 12 assists for the winners.
