Greater Lawrence freshman Aaron Diaz has a perfect game going into the seventh inning, and settled for a one-hit 5-3 victory over Lynn Tech. Diaz struck out seven and allowed just one earned run.

Greater Lawrence used a five-run second inning highlighted by a hard-hit two-run single to left by Jonathan Amparo to cruise to a 9-1 win over Notre Dame. In his second appearance on the mound this season, Omar Abreu pitched six innings of one-hit ball with 12 strikeouts. 

Freshman Aaron Diaz fired six strong innings, giving up just one earned run, and had a key RBI in the fourth, to power Greater Lawrence to a 4-2 win over Essex Tech. 

Freshman Aaron Diaz impressed in his first varsity start for Greater Lawrence, going 5.2 innings allowing three earned runs before leaving without a decision. With the score tied in the bottom of the 10th, Leyton Barr doubled in Daviel Gil-Martinez to give the Reggies a 5-4 walk-off win.

Cam Donahue celebrated his 18th birthday by hitting just a double shy of the cycle. He wen 3 for 4 with a single, triple and a 3-run homerun, but Greater Lawrence fell 10-6 to Shawsheen.

Owen Foote put together a 4-for-5 day with three singles, a double and three RBIs to help Methuen to an 11-0 season-opening demolition of Tewksbury.
