Dan Gemmell singled, advanced to second on a bunt and third on a sacrifice fly then scored on a single by Caeden Dillman to give Andover a 3-2 walkoff win over Haverhill in nine innings.

Jordan Perdomo worked six scoreless innings on the mound, and fueld a six-run fifth inning for Methuen with a two-run single as the Rangers blanked Haverhill 6-0.

Shea Bruneau opened the scoring with a three-run double in the first, as Haverhill broke through with its first win of the season, beating Andover 6-4. Jake Dion and Kyle O’Neill each added an RBI for the Hillies.

Haverhill's Jake Young (7.2 ip, 4 Ks) and North Andover's Sebastian Keane (7 ip, 1 hit, 5 Ks) dualed it out on the mound without allowing a run. But it was the Knights who prevailed in eight innings when Conor Morin drove in Mitch McQuate for the 1-0 walk-off win.

Sam Lara threw five scoreless innings of one-hit baseball with seven strikeouts before junior Steve Hajjar threw two hitless innings with five K's for the save, as Central Catholic smothered Haverhill 2-0 in its season opener. Dom Keegan went 3-for-4 with three singles and an RBI for the Raiders.

Nick Skafas and Alec Steed each had two hits, but a Haverhill rally fell a run short in a 5-4 loss to Masconomet.
