Coach Jeff Baumann said Timberlane had two or three 3- pointers which wouldn't fall in the final 30 seconds and No. 8 Goffstown ousted No. 9 Timberlane 45-42 in the Division 2 first round. Bob Horgan scored 11 points and Drew Siemering 10 for the Owls.

Windham led most of the way but Connor Schott's 3-pointer with 40 seconds left, the only trey of the game for Timberlane, gave the Owls a 43-41 lead. Windham missed a late contest lay-up and the Owls won 43-41.

Timberlane senior Drew Siemering scored a career-high 32 points, but the Owls fell to Goffstown 66-63 in overtime.

With two seconds remaining, Drew Siemering banked in an elbow jumper off a screen to give Timberlane a 61-59 win over Souhegan. Siemering hit a similar shot with 40 seconds left to tie the game at 59-59, and finished with a team-high 20 points.

Bob Horgan scored 18 points and Drew Siemering added 17 points and held Pembroke's top scorer to 6 points. Timberlane rolled 65-54.

With 10 seconds left to go, Timberlane's Ryan Allen hit a 3-pointer to tie the game at 46-46. But Pelham's Kyle Frank took the inbound pass the length of the court and converted a tough layup at the buzzer to give the Pythons the two-point victory. Frank led all scorers with 17 points.

Junior guard Matt Perry only scored two points in the first quarter, but he exploded for 21 the rest of the way for a career high 23 points as Timberlane beat Pembroke 77-68.

Due to early foul trouble, Yanni Kakouris was forced into more than his usual minutes. Unfazed, he gave Timberlane a spark, chipping in with five points and a big 3-pointer in the fourth quarter to help the Owls beat Windham 52-47.

Junior forward Bob Horgan pumped in a career-high 21 points to lead Timberlane to a 76-54 win over Kingswood. Defensively, Connor Schott came away with five steals.

Drew Siemering scored a career-high 25 points to lead Timberlane to a 65-49 victory over Raymond in the Oyster River tournament.
