Coach Jeff Baumann said Timberlane had two or three 3- pointers which wouldn't fall in the final 30 seconds and No. 8 Goffstown ousted No. 9 Timberlane 45-42 in the Division 2 first round. Bob Horgan scored 11 points and Drew Siemering 10 for the Owls.

Windham led most of the way but Connor Schott's 3-pointer with 40 seconds left, the only trey of the game for Timberlane, gave the Owls a 43-41 lead. Windham missed a late contest lay-up and the Owls won 43-41.

With 10 seconds left to go, Timberlane's Ryan Allen hit a 3-pointer to tie the game at 46-46. But Pelham's Kyle Frank took the inbound pass the length of the court and converted a tough layup at the buzzer to give the Pythons the two-point victory. Frank led all scorers with 17 points.
