The Salem girls soccer team's season came to an end last night, losing 4-0 in the first round of the N.H. Division 1 state tournament to No. 4 seeded Bishop Guertin. The Blue Devils finish the year 5-11-1.

On paper, 8-4-2 Exeter was the heavy favorite in its soccer match with 4-9-1 Salem. But that's why they play the games. Christina El Khoury scored in the second half and Victoria Andrade (6 saves) would not be denied in a 1-0 Blue Devil upset.

Pinkerton's girls soccer team had nine different players figure in the scoring in a 6-1 rout of Salem. Keara Doolan  had two goals and an assist to lead the unbeaten Astros (7-0).

Rachel Lacroix scored three goals to lead Salem girls soccer to a 5-0 drubbing of Keene.

Salem girls soccer goalie Victoria Andrade made a rare appearance on the scoresheet Friday, assisting on Victoria Hearn's game-winning goal late in the team's 2-1 win over Nashua North. Megan O'Brien scored the first goal, assisted by Christina El Khoury.

Rachel Lacroix scored two goals and Ari Sullivan netted the third as Salem opened its season with a 3-0 victory over Manchester Memorial.
