Lawrence upset Haverhill 7-5 on Senior Night. For the 2-13 Lancers, Luz Evangelista had two hits, two runs and an RBI, Krystal Morales two hits and an RBI, and Katherine Quevedo two runs and an RBI. Haverhill dropped to 9-7.

Tori Roche went 3 for 3 with a homer and scored four runs and Paige Hartnett also collected three hits as Andover beat Lawrence 10-4. The Lancers' Krystal Morales made three terrific running catches in left field.

Lawrence earned its first victory over an MVC opponent in four years, scoring three runs in the top of the ninth for a 9-6 victory at North Andover.

"It was kind of funny after (North Andover's) third out (in the bottom of the ninth) they weren't sure what to do," said Lawrence coach Chris Boardman, who won for the fifth time in his three years. "I told them they should walk into school a little higher tomorrow."

Tori Roche, Amy Bordigna and Abby Day each hit home runs as Andover downed Lawrence 13-1. Megan Hartnett allowed just two hits and struck out six for the Warriors.

Amanda Conway, Nina Correia and Sam Ferraro all had three hits as Methuen blasted Lawrence in softball 13-0.

Ashley Coutois was 3 for 3 with four runs scored and two RBIs as Haverhill bested Lawrence 15-7. Hillies pitcher Brianna Michitson struck out 17 to earn the victory.
