Kyle Nagri's fifth-inning double was the only hit Salem managed in a 7-0 playoff-opening loss to Alvirne and ace Tyler Brown.

Salem's baseball team snapped a five-game losing streak in a big way, pounding a good Bishop Guertin team, 12-3. The top four players in the order — Nick Shumski, Mitch Dufton, Jake White and Matt Meisner — combined for 9 hits, 7 RBIs and 9 runs scored. C.J. Beaulieu went the distance, throwing a four-hitter, for the win.

E.J. Perry IV went 3 for 4 with two RBIs and two runs to lead Andover baseball 7-5 over Salem, N.H.

Matt Meisner stroked three hits and drove in two for Salem. 

Winning pitcher C.J. Beaulieu had three hits and two RBIs to help his own cause and Matt Meisner was 2 for 3 with two RBIs as Salem defeated Merrimack 9-5. 

Rob Del Signore fired a two-hitter, striking out 15, as Londonderry whipped Salem 8-1. He also drove in a pair of runs and teammate Tom Corey was 2 for 2 with an RBI and run scored.

Jake White went 2 for 3 with two walks and four RBIs as Salem knocked off previously-unbeaten Dover 9-5. 

Nick Shumski added two hits, two runs and an RBI.

Nick Shumski and Jake Dufton both had three hits apiece as Salem outscored Manchester Memorial 10-7. Dufton had two doubles and scored twice and Shumski scored twice and drove in four runs.

Salem scored in the bottom of the seventh to beat Winnacunnet 2-1. Kyle Nagri, who reached on a fielding error, scored on a throwing error. Matt Meisner pitched a 3-hitter with nine strikeouts and no earned runs.
