Amanda Bickford (15 points), Allie Sirmaian (14 points), Emily Hickey (11 points) and Kelly Lamarre (11 points) led Salem to a 61-53 win over Alvirne. Hickey's late 3-pointer sealed the win and Lamarre played a stellar all-around game.

Sirmaian (nine 3s) on fire

 

Sophomore Allie Sirmaian was nearly unstoppable for Salem, drilling nine 3-pointers in nine attempts and finishing with 31 points as Salem knocked off Manchester Central 65-63. Salem had three other 3-pointers, including one by Emily Hickey with 30 seconds left that proved to be the game-winner.

Londonderry's girls got good news earlier in the day when injured standout Aliza Simpson was cleared to start practicing and then thumped Salem 65-33. Brittany Roche had a season-high 12 points and Jackie Luckhardt had nine assists and five steals.

Amanda Bickford scored a season-high  27 points and had 10 rebounds as Salem took apart Manchester Memorial, 62-51. "And she really moved the ball well just a great all-around game," said Salem coach Mikaela Galvin.
