Jacquelyn Leone had a goal and an assist as Andover won its field hockey tourney opener 2-0 over Concord-Carlisle. Nicole Schena earned the shutout.

Andover led once-beaten Beverly until the final three minutes before settling for a 1-1 field hockey tie. Tori Roche scored for the Warriors (11-1-4) and Nicole Schena had 11 saves. 

Jacquelyn Leone took a pass from Weezie Gross and beat the goalie for the lone score of the game midway through the second half as Andover field hockey avenged its only loss of the season, beating Central Catholic 1-0.

 Powerhouse Walpole came in at 12-0, but Andover's field hockey team palyed one of its best games of the year to come away with a 2-2 tie. Jacquelyn Leone scored both goals for the Warriors (9-1-3), Weezie Gross had an assist and played outstanding at midfield and goalie Nicole Schena was superb while making 15 saves.

Nicole Schena made eight saves as Andover field hockey won 4-0 over Chelmsford, which entered unbeaten in the MVC. The two teams tied earlier this season.

Jessica Leone scored one goal and younger sister Jacquelyn Leone added another score as Andover beat Methuen 3-0.

Andover dominated but Jacqui Petto was immense in net with 18 saves to carry North Andover to the stunning field hockey tie. The Knights (4-5-2) got major defensive efforts from Emma Noga, Morgan Coakley, Danielle McAdam and Danielle Jillson. Weezie Gross starred for Andover (7-1-2).

After dropping its first game of the season Saturday, the Andover field hockey team bounced back with a dominating 4-0 victory over Bishop Fenwick. Brenna Keefe led the attack with a pair of goals and Weezy Gross had a goal and an assist.

Mary Lambert scored the game's only goal and Sydney Thornhill was credited with a whopping 25 saves as Central Catholic field hockey blanked Andover 1-0 on Saturday.

In a battle of two of the top field hockey teams in the region, Andover gave up a goal in the first 29 seconds of the game and then held Chelmsford scoreless in a 1-1 Merrimack Valley Conference tie. Julia LeBlanc scored for the Warriors while Jess and Jackie Leone, Weezy Gross and Emily Gibson all played strong defensive games.
