All looked lost for No. 7 Salem, which had fallen behind No. 10 Londonderry 3-0 in the second half of their tourney opener. But sophomore Andrew Doucette erupted for three goals to tie it. The Lancers, though, got the last laugh as Nate Gaw's OT goal enabled them to advance.

Senior defender Ryan Fredette waited until the final regular season game of his career to net his first varsity goal, lifting Salem over Nashua North, 3-0. The Blue Devils now await their first home playoff game since 2010.

Freshman Andrew Fichera continued his strong freshman season by scoring twice as Salem boys soccer won 3-2 over Spaulding. 

Andrew Fichera delivered a beautiful cross to a hustling Christian Moreno, who found the back of the net on a gorgeous header. The best news, they are both freshmen. That play highlighted Salem's 4-2 win over Timberlane.

Connor Decker stopped six shots and Bryant Borges, Christian Moreno, Andrew Doucette and Darren Righini scored as unbeaten Salem (4-0) topped Memorial 4-1.

Todd Righini, Reed Grubbs and Zach Grady scored as Salem beat Merrimack 3-1 to improve to 3-0. It's their best start since going 4-0 in 2009.

Todd and Darren Righini stole the show in Salem boys soccer's 5-3 over Nashua South yesterday. Todd netted two goals and added one assist. Darren had two assists.

Salem opened up with an impressive 2-0 win over Bedford in boys soccer as freshmen Andrew Fischera and Christian Moreno both had a goal and an assist.
