Haverhill took advantage of 23 Pentucket walks en route to a 20-14 win. Theresa Ross scored four runs and Amanda Roy, Morgan Arsenault and Michaela Kane all scored three times for the Hillies.

No-hitter romp

 

North Reading's softball team got upset by pentucket earlier in the season and was not about to let that happen again. The Hornets (15-4) blasted the Sachems 15-0 in five inning as Terri Ferrazzani threw a no-hitter, striking out nine.

One-two punch

 

Mary Kate Corrado, hitting in the three spot had three hits and five RBIs and cleanup batter and winning pitcher Tyler Feeney was 3 for 3 with two RBIs and three runs scored as Pentucket slapped Ipswich 14-4. Angelica Arredondo was 3 for 4 with three RBIs as well.

Timely hits

 

Pentucket only had five hits but the Sachems made them count in a 4-2 victory over North Reading for its first win of the year. Mary Kate Corrado had two hits and an RBI for the Sachems and Maddy Ammon scored twice and had an RBI. Leslie Zewey struck out 13 in a losing cause for North Reading.

Striking early

 

Amanda Lemire had two doubles in the first inning and Kathleen Lefebre also doubled as Methuen scored nine times in the opening frame in an 18-0, five-inning rout of Pentucket. Both Lemire and Lefebre were 3 for 3 for the Rangers and Chrissy Scionti struck out four while allowing just two hits in the win.

Knights in extras

Paige Alholm stroked a two-out double in the top of the eighth and Haley Kosheff doubled her home to give North Andover a 9-8 win over Pentucket.
