Moloney delivers for Londonderry

 
Londonderry High coach Brent Demas held senior Ryan Moloney out of the opener, saving him for the quarterfinals.
The UMass-bound righty made his mentor look like a genius, stifling Timberlane in a brilliant 3-hitter as the Lancers moved on, 4-1. Moloney struck out seven and walked only two Owls.
Londonderry managed only doubles by Colby Joncas and Rob Del Signore and singles by Moloney and Jake Cassidy, but made the hits count.
Pat Mahoney, Ryan McCarthy and Jason Hughes had the Timberlane hits.

Owls advance

Jake Damphousse scattered six hits and six walks but persevered and pitched Timberlane to a 3-1 win over Bishop Guertin in opening-roiund action. Josh David drove in a run and had a terrific catch in right field. Ryan McCarthy went 3 for 3.

Tyler Cameron hit a three-run homer in the fourtgh and Josh David ended the game with a grand slam in the fifth as Timberlane whipped Keene 13-1. David was 2 for and scored three runs for the Owls (6-8).

Owl doubles down Devils

Pounding out six doubles among its 18-hit barrage, Timberlane smacked out a 12-4 victory over Salem. In a game-changing six-run fourth inning, Tyler Cameron, Josh David (three hits, two RBIs), Jameson Collins (three hits and three runs driven in) and Matt Grant (three hits) all rapped two-baggers as the Owls' first six batters reached base.

Timberlane pieces one together

With his pitching staff depleted and his Timberlane baseball team in an early "must-win," Jamie Fish and his Owls pieced together a masterpiece with a 7-3 win over Manchester Central. Bradey Bonnell, Aiden Newell, Jason Hughes and Matt Grant combined to hold Central to six hits. Jake Cameron and Pat Mahoney each drove in a pair of runs for the 3-6 Owls.

Cool in the clutch

Facing a full count with the bases loaded and two outs in the top of the seventh inning, Jameson Collins hammered a shot to the gap for a double that plated all three runs, capping a four-run rally and giving Timberlane a 6-5 victory over Winnacunnet.
