Freshman Kat LeFebre hit her fifth home run of the season as Methuen clipped Billerica 9-5. Heather McLaughlin was 2 for 2 and scored three runs for the Rangers (11-5).

Leslie Moorre was 4 for 5 with four RBIs and scored three runs as Central Catholic trounced Bileerica 15-5. Meg Sears got the win and helped her own cause with two hits and an RBI. 

The last three hitters in Methuen's softball lineup were on fire in a 9-2 victory over Billerica. Sophomore Meghan Murphy had three hits including a pair of triples, scoring three runs with an RBI. Junior Amanda Lemire added two hits, scoring three times and driving in one while sophomore Heather McLaughlin had a pair of safeties.

Central Catholic improved to 7-1 as Leslie Moore had a home run, two hits and four RBIs in a 6-5 win over Billerica. Ally Cavanaugh had a game-winning single in the bottom of the seventh. 

North Andover senior Kim Crucioli had her second straight superb game in a 5-0 win over Billerica, striking out 10 without walking a batter while scattering six hits. Sophomore Dahlia Decologero had three hits, including a triple, stole two bases and scored twice for the Knights.
