Cassandra Hunt may not have been quite perfect, but she was as close as humanly possible.

The Brooks pitcher threw a no-hitter, striking out eight of her 15 outs and finishing just a walk away from a pefect game, and was 2 for 2 at the plate with two runs as Brooks blasted Middlesex 15-0.

Held without a run for seven innings, Brooks exploded for five in the eighth and downed St. Paul's 5-1. Jillian D’Arrigo and Emma Goff each had two-run singles, Jill Doherty also played a run and Sam Nestor kicked off the rally with a bunt single.
