Brooks junior Andrew Konovalchik of North Andover placed sixth at the Prep School Nationals at Lehigh University. The talented 160-pounder went 4-3 in the two-day competiton. In the consolation quarterfinals he beat Blair Academy's highly touted Jack Wedholm at the buzzer on an ankle pick to earn a takedown and win a 6-5 decision.

Brooks junior Andrew Konovalchik of North Andover won the 160-pound division at the 43-team Prep New Englands. Konovalchik, who was runner-up last year and was fifth as a freshman, went 4-0 on the day with two pins, a major decision and a 15-9 win in the finals over of Dan Toubman of Nobles.

Brooks' Andrew Konovalchik of North Andover won the 160 weight class at the ISL tournament and helped Brooks take fifth as a team. Belmont Hill won the tournament with 246 points.

The North Andover trio of Andrew Konovalchik, Jake Gottfried and Geoff Fulgione each scored pin wins in Brooks School's 60-12 mat thrashing of Thayer.

Brooks junior Andrew Konovalchik, out the entire football season and the start of wrestling with a knee injury, returned to action with a 38-second pin uin a 50-28 loss to Milton Academy.
