Kayleen Walberg scored two goals and assisted on another as No. 2 Londonderry rallied from a 2-0 deficit to beat No. 10 Timberlane 5-2 in the Division 1 soccer quarterfinals. Emily Crocetti, Aliza Simpson and Lydia Simmon seach also scored a goal for the Lancers, who face No. 3 Bedford on Wednesday at at 5:30 p.m. at Southern New Hampshire University.

Morrier, Owls advance

Rachel Morrier assisted on two goals as No. 10 Timberlane beat No. 7 Bishop Guertin 3-0 in the Division 1 North soccer first round. Nichole Bruen and Caitlin Rothwell each scored a goal for the Owls, who travel to face No. 2 Londonderry on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Timberlane had the brunt of ball possession against Concord but just couldn't finish as often, dropping a tough 2-1 decision. Senior Emily Swanson continued her strong play at midfield for the Owls. "She certainly was a strong presence (yesterday) and the last couple of games," said head coach Jeff Baumann.

With three starters out at one point, Timberlane girls soccer needed help and got it from junior Nora Magliocchetti and sophomore Sam Coryea in a 2-0 shutout of Dover. "Nora and Sam have played limited minutes and really stepped up and helped out (yesterday)," said head coach Jeff Baumann of the Owls' goal scorers.
