Pinkerton's volleyball team, entering the match with a 9-1 record, was stunned by 5-5 Hollis-Brookline, losing three straight games. Brenna McNally led the Astros in three categories.

Pinkerton senior Brenna McNally, who already holds the school record for aces, had eight more among 18 service points as the Pinkerton volleyball team bounced back from its first loss of the season to sweep Manchester Central.

Alyssa Kolbert had nine kills and Kelsey Card dished out 31 assists to lead Salem to a 3-1 win over Pinkerton, handing the Astros their first loss of the season.  The teams split the first two games (25-22, Salem and 27-25, Pinkerton) before Salem closed out with wins of 25-22 and 25-13.

Brenna McNally served the last six points, including five with aces, as Pinkerton's volleyball team rallied past Spaulding 3-3, winning the final three games. She finished with 19 service opoints and 10 aces and also led the team with 22 digs.

After Timberlane rallied to turn a 12-2 deficit into a 13-13 tie in the deciding game, Pinkerton's Maddie Neidlinger served two straight points to give the Astros a 25-23, 22-25, 25-17, 24-26, 15-13 win. Brenna McNally led Pinkerton with 21 kills and 19 digs and Christina Nye paced the Owls with 14 service points and 22 digs.

With Pinkerton trailing 22-19 in the fourth game of its volleyball match against Alvirne, junior Kelsey Cummings had two aces in a run of six straight service points that got the Astros the game and a 3-1 victory.
